The design needed to convey the standing of the university to the community, business groups and alumni. The brief called for a contemporary design that illustrated the university on first sight.
At the core of all annual reports, the financials make up a major part of this project. They needed to be produced in a way that made them easily accessible for all stakeholders.
SUBEDITING & PROOFING
Accuracy and attention to detail are among the highest priorities in an annual report, and part of the brief was that AAP Studio provide rigorous checks throughout the production of the report.
Working with the Communications Director, AAP Studio produced a clean, contemporary design highlighting the authority and stability expected of a top university. An immediately recognisable cover was the forerunner to feature editorial spreads that served to highlight some of the university’s achievements over the past year. The financials were delivered in a way that allowed for varied levels of consumption and the entire process was overseen by a team of high-level subeditors to ensure that the finished product was fit for the university community.
Designed with a uv gloss and immediately recognisable as a UTAS publication, the cover provided a definitive solution for an industry-leading university.
